Congress Appoints Rajendra Pal Gautam as In-Charge of Uttar Pradesh Unit

The Congress has once again put forward a Dalit face in Uttar Pradesh, but as an in-charge. Rajendra Pal Gautam, the Dalit face of the Congress, has been made the in-charge of the Uttar Pradesh Congress. Rajendra Pal Gautam has been replaced by Avinash Pandey before the UP elections. Earlier, the Congress had made Dalit leader Brijlal Khabri the president of the UP Congress Committee, but before the 2024 general elections, the command was handed over to Ajay Rai in August 2023.
