Congress Denies BJP's Allegations Over Vande Mataram Controversy

The Congress has vehemently denied the BJP's allegations. Party MP Pramod Tiwari said that the BJP is creating this fake controversy to divert attention from its declining popularity. He pointed out that during the session, Sonia Gandhi had even praised Union Minister Kiren Rijiju because he was singing Vande Mataram with full devotion. Congress leader Jairam Ramesh clarified that Sonia Gandhi was not trying to stop the song. She had simply signalled for a chair for Mallikarjun Kharge because Kharge was standing too late. Trinamool Congress MP Kirti Azad has issued an open challenge to the BJP. He said that how many BJP MPs can sing the entire six verses of Vande Mataram?
