Congress Faces Uphill Battle to Retain Supremacy in Bamsan Panchayat Samiti

The challenge before the Congress in Bamsan is to retain its supremacy. Congress has claimed victory in Sujanpur panchayat samiti, but the result is in favour of the BJP. Now, nine out of 15 women members of the panchayat samiti, Kamlesh Ratan Bharadwajmirpur. After the victory of the BJP-supported candidates in Sujanpur panchayat samiti, all eyes are on Bamsan panchayat samiti. There are currently two panchayat samitis in the assembly constituency, Bamsan and Sujanpur. With the victory in Sujanpur, the BJP has taken a 1-0 lead in the panchayat samiti level contest. Now, the Congress has a challenge to equalise in Bamsan, while the BJP is also claiming its supremacy here. The Congress has claimed victory in Sujanpur panchayat samiti, but the result is in favour of the BJP. Now, there is no clear claim from the Congress regarding Bamsan. On the other hand, BJP supporters are trying to maintain the lead in Bamsan panchayat samiti.
