Congress Gains Strength with Entry of BJP Defectors and Local Leaders

Those who joined the Congress after leaving the BJP included Rajubhai Lakum, former Minister of Surendranagar District Youth BJP Morcha, Narendra Singh (Nayubha) Rana, former President of Lakhtar Taluka Panchayat, Babubhai Solanki, former Vice President of Taluka BJP, and Mavjibhai Rathod, former Member of Zila Panchayat. Some Patidar leaders also took the hand of the Congress. There is a new furore in local politics about the entry of these leaders into the Congress. The Congress party has presented this alliance as its strength before the elections. We were neglected because of some BJP leaders. The district panchayat member's false allegation of road damage after the MLA allocated a grant for a road in our area, hindered the development.
