Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Condemns Modi Government Over High Unemployment Rates

Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi hit out at the Modi government at the Centre over the NITI Aayog report on employment. She claimed that the unemployment rate in the country is the highest in the last 40 years, which is causing frustration among the youth. She accused the government of ignoring manufacturing and MSMEs. The Congress MP said that there are many issues, including agriculture, small businesses, which her party has been raising for a long time. According to a recent NITI Aayog report, there are about 87 million Indian youth between the ages of 15 and 29 who are not studying, not working, and not taking any kind of training. The commission called it a challenge. Cheap or subsidized training for the youth, self-employment opportunities, skilling programs according to local needs need to be increased. The opposition is calling it a failure of the central government. Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi said, "We already know that this is the highest rate of unemployment in the last 40 years. This is very clear in the discontent among the youth, small businesses, and students. This is the result of the failure of the education system in the last 12 years.
