Congress Party Rocked by Mass Resignation Ahead of Local Body Elections in Navsari

Navsari is witnessing a deep turmoil in the Congress party ahead of the local body elections. 47 office bearers of the city and district Congress have resigned en masse. These office bearers have resigned in protest against the appointment of the city president. The city Congress president has also been accused of anti-party activities and attempts to defeat the party in the past. The resignations include state ministers, general secretaries, and ward presidents. The resignations have also been sent to state Congress president Amit Chavda.
