CPI (M) Leader Condemns Removal of Names from Voters' Lists, Accuses BJP and TMC

People are angry. Their names are being removed from the voters'list without explanation. Some people want to use them. The incident of chasing the judges in Mothabari is condemnable. But the real culprit is the BJP-run Election Commission and the TMC-run state administration. CPI (M) central committee member Sujan Chakraborty on Saturday expressed his anger over Mothabari and a series of questions related to voting rights. Chakraborty said, "The Trinamool BJP is trying to destroy people. The Left is fighting to protect people's voting rights." To another question, he said, "The Left is relevant. People understand that the future of the people of West Bengal cannot be secured without the Left." Chakraborty attended a series of programmes in Diamond Harbour and Baruipur today. To a question about Malda's Mothabari, he said, "Let the police arrest the criminals. But don't harass the common people." Chakraborty added, "Who is the biggest culprit?
