Police have unearthed a sensational triple murder case after the bodies of three deaf-mutes (one male and two female) were found in a house in Shahganj area of Prayagraj. The deaf-mute killer killed the trio by attacking them with a small gas cylinder on the night of August 3 on suspicion of illicit relations. Police cordoned off the accused with clues on the basis of CCTV footage and arrested the accused by shooting him in the leg during a half-encounter. The deaf-mute accused is a resident of Varanasi and is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital. The case was extremely complicated when the three bodies were found in a room in Shahganj. The landlord had no details of the dead and the three were deaf-mutes. The police and forensic team investigated the spot and took help of CCTV cameras installed in the vicinity. The police got vital clues to reach the killer after scanning the CCTV footage. The arrested accused said in gestures that he is a resident of Varanasi and has two daughters. Despite his father's suspicion, Shahganj was not in touch with his wife.
