The Delhi Assembly has passed an important resolution under Rule 77 (1) (a) against Arvind Kejriwal and other AAP leaders. This action was taken due to the alleged false narrative of'hanging house'being propagated in the Assembly and contempt of the House by not attending the meetings of the Privileges Committee. Speaker Vijender Gupta clarified that calling this historic building'hanging house'is an insult to its real pride and history of the freedom struggle. Though the House has the right to severe punishment like jail term, only a formal warning has been decided to maintain the dignity. According to the information received, the Delhi Assembly House passed an important resolution under Rule 77 (1) (a). Through this, a warning motion has been passed against former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, former Assembly Speaker Ram Niwas Goel and former Deputy Speaker Rakhi Birla. This resolution has been brought due to the proven contempt of the House and the "fabricated and baseless story" of an imaginary'hanging house'within the Assembly premises.
