Delhi MLA Jarnail Singh Accused of Obstructing Government Work Amid Slap Scandal

An FIR has been registered against Aam Aadmi Party MLA Jarnail Singh in the middle of a slap scandal during a road inspection in Tilak Nagar, Delhi. The case has been registered on the complaint of PWD engineers. AAP MLA Jarnail Singh has been accused of obstructing government work, intimidating and threatening. In fact, after the slap scandal, Minister Parvesh Verma released a video accusing the AAP MLA of taking commission and obstructing government work. AAP MLA Jarnail Singh rejected these allegations and said to release the video soon. Earlier, Jarnail Singh said, "For the last four days, I was posting videos related to the quality of this road, because rules were not followed in building it. When I inspected the road, its top layer was crumbling out of hand." He further said that he had also tagged Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and the video went viral. After the allegation, Verma said that his video was removed from the cell phone.
