The Delhi Police have arrested an accused who was absconding for nearly 28 years in connection with the murder of a policeman. The accused created a new identity in Madhya Pradesh, got married, had a family and started running a clinic by calling himself'Dr Jhatka '. According to the police, he was wanted in many cases and evaded the eyes of the law for so long by using a fake identity. The man changed his identity to evade the police. He established himself as a doctor in a small town in Madhya Pradesh. The accused was finally arrested by the Delhi Police, who had been absconding for about 28 years in connection with the murder of the policeman. Rajinder Bairagi alias'Rajinder Singh Yadav'( 53) and a proclaimed offender in several cases in Haryana. An officer said that he had escaped from police custody in 1999. At that time, he was being taken from Ghaziabad jail to a court in Haryana in handcuffs. According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch) Chander Kumar Singh, the accused had been on the run for several months by the Crime Branch of Madhya Pradesh's Mungaoli district.
