The Delhi Police has launched a major crackdown on cybercrime. The police have launched Operation Cyhawk 5.0 on June 1. According to information, the operation has analyzed data till May 31. Operation Cyhawk involved more than 715 police teams and more than two and a half thousand policemen. Teams from 15 cyber police stations and all different police stations participated in this operation and a total of 916 people have been arrested. According to the information received, most of the accused arrested in this Delhi Police operation Cyhawk 5.0 have links to Jamtara and Nuh. More than two and a half thousand NCRB complaints were covered in this operation. Cheated amount of about 700 crore rupees was found in this operation. Several call centers were also busted under this operation. Delhi Police has recovered many laptops and mobile phones from cybercriminals under this operation. Under this operation, 600 people have been rounded up by the Delhi Police under 21 different police stations and 2000 people have been rounded up by the Delhi Police.
