Digvijay Singh Opposes Political Events at Daly College, Citing Compromise on Education

Digvijay Singh said that he was the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh for ten years, but he never pressured the College Board to provide a campus for any political event in Daly College. He said that Daly College is an institution about 150 years old. Being an Old Delian, I am sad that political events have never been held here in 150 years, but such events are being held for the last two years. Singh said that parents are also not happy with these events, but they are not being able to speak openly. He said that they are opposing it. The entry of politics in any educational institution leads to the destruction of the basic nature of such institutions. The spread of education in the country on the basis of ideology has not been a part of Indian culture and traditions. He also objected to the college hostel being vacated. Singh said that the hostel has been vacated, where RSS workers will stay. He opposed this arrangement.
