Dry Swimming Pool in Mahendergarh Craves Water After Years of Inactivity

The dream of training the swimmers of the area is drowning in a dry swimming pool. The construction of this pool was started in the year 2009 and it was inaugurated in the year 2017. Since then this pool has been waiting for water and has not received water yet. The pool is lying closed due to lack of water. And the gate is locked. The advertisement has become a showpiece of this pool built at a cost of about four crores. The weather is playing havoc with the building and due to the grass growing in the premises, it has become a den of poisonous creatures. Neither is it being taken care of by the department nor has it been provided with water. MLA Kanwar Singh has also announced to start it in April, but it has not yet been implemented at the private place and the players of the state pool are also practicing in other areas of the state.
