EU Countries Plan Migrant Processing Centers Amid Human Rights Concerns

German Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt said at a press conference in Copenhagen that these countries aim to finalize agreements with third countries this year. However, the names of the countries where these centers will be built have not yet been disclosed. The European Parliament approved the new migration policy in June. The Council of Europe calls these centers dangerous for human rights. Charlotte Slente, secretary general of the Danish Refugee Council, says it will not stop the dangerous flow of migrants. Danish Immigration and Integration Minister Morten Bodskov hopes that the process of sending migrants will begin by the end of 2027. The group will meet again in Munich in late September to discuss the entire plan.
