Farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal has made a big announcement regarding the farmers'movement. He has given details of the talks with the Haryana administration and said that the farmers will stay put at the Khanauri border for the time being. In fact, the farmers had earlier announced to reach Delhi by 28 August. However, now they have decided to continue their morcha at the Khanauri border. Dallewal said that the farmers have come from their homes till 28 August, so now the morcha will be held here continuously. The farmers have also said that they will not block the road, but will continue their protest peacefully by sitting on one side. Farmer leaders say that their real motive is to cancel the possible'trade deal'between India and America. The farmers want to hold direct talks with the central government on this issue. Dallewal said that the farmers are fully prepared to hold a meeting with them if the central officials or ministers associated with the agriculture ministry come forward for talks.
