Fatal Accident Claims Lives of Two Kanwariyas in Haridwar

A major accident took place on Saturday (August 1) in village Badedi Rajputan of Haridwar. The iron girder suddenly slipped and fell down while the Kanwariyas returning from Haridwar with Gangajal were resting under the flyover. This led to the death of two Kanwariyas. After the accident, the two Kanwariyas were immediately taken to the sub-district hospital Roorkee. After seeing here, the doctors declared both of them dead. The deceased have been identified as 21-year-old Tanuj, son of Mahesh Chandra, a resident of Chhota Haridwar, Jalalabad (police station Muradnagar) and 22-year-old Krishna, son of Matru, a resident of Shakurpur (police station Bhojpur), Ghaziabad. After the accident, there was chaos at the spot. The police have informed the relatives of the deceased. The whole incident is from the Bahadurabad police station area of Haridwar.
