Father Seeks Justice for Daughter by Contesting Elections with BJP

If voted to power, it will be a tough fight. So, to facilitate justice for my daughter, I called up the saffron camp high command and told them that I want to contest elections. The BJP has given ticket to the victim's mother in Panihati, which is her polling booth. As soon as the BJP's third candidate list was released on Wednesday, it was seen that RG Kar's victim doctor's mother is contesting against Left candidate Kaltan Dasgupta and TMC candidate Tirthankar Ghosh. The victim's doctor's parents told Live that though their daughter is fighting for justice, it is not the only goal. The victim's father said,'Not only my daughter's case, but the safety of all the girls of West Bengal will be the main focus of their fight.'The victim's parents also said that if the BJP's candidate goes to Panihati's water and garbage dumps, he will have to live in front of the media.
