Father's Funeral Held Without Daughters' Attendance Due to Family Dispute

An emotional story showing the changing picture of relationships has come to light from Sonipat, Haryana. Once a big cloth merchant, Shivcharan Ramratan Gupta educated and brought all his three daughters on his feet. But at the end of his life, he was forced to live in an old age home. The most painful thing was that despite being informed of his illness and death, none of his daughters reached for the last rites. The funeral was also held under the supervision of the ashram management and the three daughters saw the final farewell of their father on a video call. Sarika Kalra, the manager of Apna Ghar Ashram, said that Shivcharan Ramratan Gupta was originally from Maharashtra. Some of his relatives lived in Sonipat's Kakroi village, so he reached there and then expressed his desire to live in his home ashram in the year 2024. He said that he was struggling with financial and family problems after suffering a big loss in the clothing business. After this, the ashram allowed him to stay.
