Four Suicide Attempts Reported in Rajkot's Civil Hospital

Rajkot Dt. 21: Four incidents of suicide attempts by different people for different reasons were reported in the Civil Hospital records. As per the information, the staff of the hospital chowki informed the Malviyanagar police about the incident when the youth of Amitbhai Narshibhai Shiara (ઉ.વ.44), a resident of Radhakrishna Nagar-2 on Gondal Road, drank DDT near Lathiya Garage in the afternoon and was shifted to the Civil Hospital for treatment. The youth works as a driver and is the youngest of two brothers, and has a son. In the second incident, Sumit Hematbhai Rathod (ઉ.વ.26), a resident of Bhupgarh village, was admitted to the Civil Hospital after swallowing phenyl near the new bus stand ahead of Ganjiwada in the evening. The youth works as a driver, according to him, was sitting near the house yesterday when Big Bapu Bhupatbhai and his son Sagar started abusing him.
