Rajkot, તા.18: The escalating conflict between Iran and Israel is now having a direct impact on global air transport. Airspace in the world's busiest airport hubs such as Dubai, Doha, and Abu Dhabi have been temporarily closed following the threat of missile and drone attacks in the Middle East skies. Dozens of airlines including Air France, Lufthansa, and Qatar Airways have been forced to cancel or defer their flights due to the situation, leaving thousands of Indian travellers in the lurch. Indian airline IndiGo has also suspended flights to Doha, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Sharjah until 28 March due to security concerns. Similarly, British Airways has cancelled flights to Dubai and Tel Aviv until 31 May, while services to Abu Dhabi are expected to remain suspended until the end of this year. European carriers Air France and KLM have also suspended most of their operations to Middle East countries until the end of March.
