Global Market Turmoil: Gold and Silver Prices Plummet After Trump's Speech

After the much-awaited speech of US President Donald Trump on the war in West Asia, the world market has become unstable again. There has been a huge fall in the price of gold and silver in the international market. The price of precious metals fell significantly in the Indian market as well as in the international market on Thursday. Trump's indifference to the cessation of hostilities, the opening of the Strait of Hormuz, caused a new panic in the world market. The price of gold on the country's Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) fell by 1.65 percent or Rs 2,547. The price of 10 grams of gold has fallen more than the price of gold. On Thursday, the price of silver fell by 5.6 percent or Rs 13,613 on MCX. The price of silver has also fallen by Rs 229,888 per kg on the international market. The price of spot silver has fallen by 2.29% 72.95 Gold per ounce or US $4,943.
