Gujarat Congress Decimated in Local Body Elections

Ahmedabad, તા.29: Congress has been decimated in the local body elections. Not getting power in any municipal corporation, there is a similar plight in other local bodies. Gujarat Congress will now do a post-mortem of the defeat in the coming days. Of course, after the defeat of the workers, leaders, some leaders of the state at the district level, some leaders of the state are raising the issue of tickets obtained arbitrarily, tickets sold in winnable seats, lack of coordination, lack of funds, and no efforts have been made to control the damage. Before the local body elections, there was an atmosphere of anti-incumbency, a number of street candidates were banned for BJP candidates, with this resentment, most of the people in the cities did not consider it appropriate to vote. Many star campaigners were not even found anywhere. Campaign materials were also not delivered on time. Instead of saving their strongholds, instead of the entire Gujarat, Congress leaders were making claims that the list of candidates had already been finalized, but the names of the candidates had not been delivered.
