Gujarat Government Committed to Security and Good Governance: Deputy Chief Minister

Ahmedabad તા.12: Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghvi today expressed the government's commitment to the security and good governance of the state while giving a sharp reply to the debate on the budgetary demands of the Home, Jail, Law and Justice departments in the Gujarat Legislative Assembly. He presented the figures of the achievements of the departments while giving a befitting reply to the baseless allegations of the opposition. He said that the edifice of development can always stand on the strong foundation of law and order. The budget has made a historic provision of ₹14,265 crore for the Home Department and ₹2,702 crore for the Law and Judiciary. This allocation is a living document of the fearless life of the citizens of Gujarat and the respect of women. Shri Sanghvi added, "The Home Department is the shield of Gujarat, while the Judiciary is the scepter."
