Gujarat Government Transfers 72 IAS Officers, Shuffles Administrative Structure

Gandhinagar: As many as 72 IAS officers of the state have been transferred and posted by the General Administration Department, Government of Gujarat by issuing an important notification on 13th May 2026. The reshuffle entails new responsibilities to the Collectors and Municipal Commissioners of several districts. The decision by the government saw a drastic change in the administrative structure. Sujeet Kumar: Transferred from Collector Ahmedabad to Special Commissioner State Tax, Ahmedabad. Dr. Saurabh Jamsingh Pardhi: Transferred from Collector Surat to Director Civil Supplies, Gandhinagar. Gaurangbhai H. Makwana: Transferred from Collector Bharuch to Director GEDA, Gandhinagar. Sanjay K. Modi: Transferred from Collector Narmada to Executive Director Municipal DISRE, Morbi. Transferred from Executive Director, Gandhinagar to Commissioner, Navsari.
