Gujarat Local Body Elections: Polls Scheduled Tomorrow

AHMEDABAD: Preparations have been finalised by the administration for the local body elections in Gujarat, which will go to the polls tomorrow from 7 am to 6 pm across the state. 25,537 candidates are in the fray for a total of 9,263 seats, while 736 seats have already been declared uncontested. 48,450 polling stations have been set up to enable a total of 713 voters in the state to exercise their franchise.
