Haryana Congress protests against SIR at all district headquarters Chandigarh Two separate meetings were held on Wednesday at the Haryana Congress headquarters in Chandigarh. In the first meeting, it was decided to run the Save Democracy Week and Vote Bachao-Desh Bachao campaign in the state together with the constituent parties of the India Alliance. The parties of the alliance will hold joint programs in the districts and assembly constituencies and will raise the issues related to suffrage among the public. Later, in a separate meeting, the Haryana Congress has decided to hold demonstrations at all district headquarters of the state on Thursday against the Special Intensive Review (SIR). Representatives of the constituent parties of the India Alliance were present including the state president of the Rashtriya Janata Dal Ram Avtar Yadav, the state secretaries of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) Premchand and Dariyav Singh Kashyap, the state secretary of the Communist Party of India Vinod Ghadoli, and other leaders. Haryana Congress in-charge Sanjay Dutt said that the alliance will run a united campaign in the state.
