Protest rallies to be held at district headquarters from 7th to 22nd JulyOur Ujala Bureau Chandigarh / Rohtak to go on a three-day strike from 6th August Haryana Fire Department Employees Union has decided that if the government does not meet the pending demands by 30th June, an agitation will be held. A strike notice will be served through the officers of all fire stations on 22nd June. Protest meetings will be held at all main fire stations on 1st and 2nd July. Protest rallies are planned at district headquarters from 7th to 22nd July. Thereafter, the firemen will go on a three-day strike from 6th August. Union State President Rajendra Singh, General Secretary Gulshan Bharadwaj decided the forthcoming strategy of the agitation at a state-level meeting held at Rohtak. State President Rajendra said that the firemen had gone on strike from 8th April to 14th May. Talks were held with Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Vipul Goyal, Chief Principal Secretary Rajesh Khullar, etc. in Chandigarh on 13th May to end the strike. Surendra said that no written consent had been given to the state vice-president to meet the demands of the fire personnel so far.
