100 players from 5 districts participated in the selection trials & nbsp | & nbspPhoto Credit: & nbspIANS 100 players from 5 districts participated in the selection trials held by Penchak Silat Association, Himachal Pradesh for selection of Himachal Pradesh Penchak Silat Martial Arts Team at Badminton Hall Sports Paddal Mandi on Tuesday. Around 100 female and male players from Mandi, Kullu, Kangra, Bilaspur and Sirmaur districts participated in the selection trials. Penchak Silat Association Himachal Pradesh President Joginder Singh Azad informed that the state team has been selected for the 14th National Penchak Silat Competition comprising teams from Singa, Makan, Pre-Teen, Sub-Junior, Junior and Senior categories. The 14th National Competition will be organized by Maharashtra Penchak Silat Association under the aegis of Indian Penchak Silat Federation at Nashik from 25th to 28th June. The Senior Category National Competition will be held at Shillong, Meghalaya from 6th to 8th July.
