Houthi Rebels Claim Missile Attacks on Saudi Defense Ministry and Oil Refinery

Yemen's pro-Iranian Houthi rebels have claimed that they have attacked the Defense Ministry in the Saudi Arabian capital of Riyadh with a ballistic missile. Houthi military spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree has claimed this. Earlier on Tuesday, the Houthi group said that it also fired a ballistic missile at Saudi Arabia's largest oil refinery, Ras Tanura, which caused a fire there. Saudi Arabia has not yet commented or confirmed both claims. The Houthis are a Yemeni group that is considered to be pro-Iran. The group's military spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree said that the Saudi Defense Ministry in Riyadh has been targeted. This information was posted on the Houthi group's media center's Telegram channel. There was no statement from Saudi Arabia immediately after the attack. Earlier on Tuesday, the Houthi group claimed a ballistic missile attack on the Ras Tanura oil refinery. It is Saudi Arabia's largest refinery. According to Saree, the refinery complex is on the edge of the Gulf and the shipping terminal is on fire.
