The crucial meeting of the opposition alliance INDIA (Indian National Development Inclusive Alliance) will be held on Monday, June 8, at the Constitution Club in Delhi. The meeting is expected to be the first major meeting of the alliance after the recent assembly elections, at a time when differences among several allies have also come to the fore. Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh informed that 23 political parties have confirmed their participation in the meeting. He wrote on social media platform X, "Like India, the INDIA Janbandhan is united by its diversity." The Trinamool Congress (TMC) has expressed strong support for the meeting. Party chief Mamata Banerjee arrived in Delhi on Sunday. TMC MP Derek O'Brien said that all parties are attending the meeting with a common purpose and clear intention. The meeting is likely to be attended by several big leaders, including Mamata Banerjee, Abhishek Banerjee, Uddhav Thackeray, Akhilesh Yadav, Rahul Gandhi, and Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge. Though the official agenda of the meeting has not been released, it is believed that the national government is constantly attacking the right to vote.
