The relations between India and Belgium are going to be further strengthened. PM Narendra Modi will meet Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever in New Delhi on Thursday. The two leaders will discuss enhancing cooperation in many areas including trade, investment, security and technology. In fact, Belgian Prime Minister De Wever is coming on a three-day visit to India from Thursday. This will be his first visit to India after assuming the post of Prime Minister in February 2025. De Wever will also give a speech at a CII event. He will then go to Mumbai, where he will meet various people associated with the diamond industry, ports and logistics sector. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, the objective of this visit of the Belgian Prime Minister is to further strengthen the India-Belgium partnership. Also, efforts will be made to increase cooperation in areas like trade and investment, security, technology, connectivity. Also, to deepen relations with India and the European Union. During his visit to Belgium last year, Pris Edens was in India.
