India Appoints Sudarsan Pattnaik as Brand Ambassador for 2027 Census

Angul, તા.18: The Union Ministry of Home Affairs has roped in world-renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik as the brand ambassador for the ambitious Census of India to be held in 2027. Pattnaik, who has brought glory to India on the world stage with his stunning sand art, will now inspire crores of citizens of the country to participate and provide correct information in the census by creating attractive artworks on the sand of the seashore. This time the census will not only change the statistical structure, but will change the future of India. This census of 2027 will be the 8th census after independence and the 16th census of the country. The biggest feature of this campaign is that detailed data related to caste and socio-economic status will be collected for the first time. Experts believe that based on this data, the delimitation of Lok Sabha and Assembly constituencies will take place in the future, which can bring a major change in the political history of the country. The last census was held in 2021 due to the Corona pandemic.
