India Celebrates 80th Independence Day with Economic Progress and Future Growth Strategy

On the occasion of 80th Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled India's economic progress and future growth strategy from the ramparts of the Red Fort. He said that in the last 12 years, India has emerged as the world's fastest-growing major economy from the'Fragile Five '. In his address, PM Modi also announced'Sapta Dhara of Power'to set the direction of development. Manufacturing, agriculture and food processing, technology and innovation, Gati Shakti, defence power, green and blue economy, and India's soft power have been made major focus areas. In his speech, PM Modi said that once the global financial world had included India among the'Fragile Five '. In this group, apart from India, Brazil, Indonesia, South Africa, and Turkey, he said that within 12 years, India strengthened its economic position and today it is the fastest-growing major Indian economy in the world. The Prime Minister said that the country is moving forward with unprecedented confidence and resolve.
