India Celebrates 80th Independence Day with Pledge to Become Developed Nation by 2047

Speaking from the ramparts of the Red Fort on the 80th Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that today we have become the fastest growing economy among the major economies of the world. In the last 12 years, India has taken a new pace and we are moving fast. The resolve of the country is that by 2047, we will develop the country and the efforts of 140 crore people will achieve this goal. He gave an account of the last 12 years and said that today defence production has increased 4 times, mobile production 37 times, Khadi Gram industry 7 times, manufacturing 21 times. He further said that gas connections have increased 6 times, toilets have been built 4 times every year. He further said that now the goal is to make India developed by 2047 and this will be possible only when we become self-reliant. For the first time after independence, India has seen such a speed in the last one decade. The resolve to become a developed India in 2047 is not going to be incomplete. For this, we need to become self-reliant.
