India has once again lambasted Pakistan at the United Nations. In a scathing attack on Pakistan, India said that Islamabad is misusing the international platform for propaganda while failing to protect its own people. Further, India reiterated that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral and inalienable part of India and Pakistan must withdraw from all territories under its illegal occupation. In an interactive dialogue with the Special Rapporteur on Minority Issues in the Third Committee of the United Nations General Assembly, First Secretary in India's Permanent Mission Raghu Puri criticised Pakistan's behaviour. He said that Pakistani representatives should focus on the well-being of its people rather than acting on military dictates. Pakistan expectedly misused the platform for propaganda. Jammu and Kashmir is an integral and inalienable part of India. Pakistan must vacate the territories under its illegal occupation. He further said that Pakistani representatives must look within and address the concerns of its own citizens. Puri underlined that the core responsibility of individual states lies in equality of rights, diversity of sovereignty and India's ethos of linguistic, cultural and religious security measures.
