India Condemns UAE Attacks; Rahul Gandhi Criticizes BJP's Alleged Bid to Destroy Democracy

In a post on X, PM Narendra Modi said, "I strongly condemn the attacks on UAE in which 3 Indian citizens have been injured. Targeting civilians and infrastructure is not acceptable. India stands with UAE fully. Reiterates its support for peaceful resolution of all issues through dialogue and diplomacy. Securing safe and unhindered navigation through the Strait of Hormuz is vital for peace, stability and global energy security of the region." Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said in a post on X this Tuesday, "Some others in the Congress are rejoicing over TMC's defeat. But they must understand that stealing the mandate of Assam and Bengal is a big step by the BJP in its mission to destroy Indian democracy. Keep petty politics aside. This is not a move by one party or the other. Some in the party, others in the TMC, are gloating about its loss. They need to understand that the loss of democracy is not the BJP's pet project to destroy Indian democracy."
