Kathmandu: The historic general elections held in Nepal have given a new turn to the politics of South Asia. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has heartily congratulated the people and the government of Nepal for this successful democratic process. PM Modi wrote in his post on social media that it is a proud moment to see Nepali brothers and sisters participating so enthusiastically in the festival of democracy. India as a true neighbour is fully committed to walking shoulder to shoulder in the journey of peace, progress and prosperity of Nepal. The biggest miracle in this election has been done by the Rapper-turned-politician Balendra Shah's (Balen) Rastriya Swatantrata Party (RSP). This time, the young party which entered the fray with the slogan of'Balendra Sarkar'has uprooted the hegemony of the old parties for decades. Especially in the Kathmandu Valley, where Balendra Shah has won all the 10 seats in the district. Balendra Shah's son is now emerging as a fresh leader in the politics of Madhesh Province.
