India Eyes Major Defence Deal with UAE, Selling Supersonic BrahMos Missiles

BrahMos, one of India's most lethal missiles, may soon be seen roaring in the skies of the Gulf countries. Preparations are underway for a major defence deal between India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which will not only increase India's dominance in the defence sector but also give a new twist to the geopolitics of West Asia. BrahMos Aerospace has officially submitted a detailed proposal to the UAE demonstrating its missile system. If this agreement is finalized, the UAE will become the first Gulf country to buy Indian BrahMos missiles, giving India a golden opportunity to gain a strategic foothold in the region's large defence market. India has made a formal offer to the UAE to sell its unmatched supersonic BrahMos cruise missile. BrahMos Aerospace has given a structured presentation of the entire system to the UAE authorities, which is being seriously considered by the Emirati authorities. The UAE is currently working on strengthening its defence preparedness and reducing its dependence on the Western countries.
