India Installs High-Tech Radiation System to Study Solar Energy Effects

A hi-tech radiation system has been installed at the Chandigarh Sector-39 weather station. Special sensors installed in it will measure the amount and intensity of radiation from the sun. This will create a record of changes in solar energy reaching the earth throughout the day. These data will help in scientific analysis of the sun's effect on weather, temperature, agriculture, environment and air quality.
