India Secures Major Uranium Supply Deal with Australia

PM Modi, who arrived in Australia after a visit to Indonesia, has received a warm welcome. PM Modi has signed an agreement with Australia on uranium supplies. This agreement is considered a major victory for India. It is recorded as a big step in India's energy ambitions. India has a huge demand for electricity. It is because of India's population. Australia has known uranium reserves, which it does not use. At the same time, due to many legal obstacles and political sensitivities, business could not be done. Both countries have also issued a joint statement. Under this system, uranium can be exported for peaceful purposes only. Australia has 28% of the world's uranium reserves. It does not use nuclear power, it does not use all the uranium. It wants to establish a nuclear power capacity of up to 100 billion homes. India wants to export nuclear weapons.
