India to Face Sri Lanka A Team in Final of A-Teams ODI Tri-Series

While Team India had already secured their place in the final of the A-Teams ODI Tri-Series being played in Sri Lanka under the captaincy of Tilak Varma, it has now been decided which team they will face in the title match on 21 June. Sri Lankan A team has managed to secure a place in the final by winning the last match of the league stage between hosts Sri Lanka and Afghanistan A team played at Dambulla Stadium on 19 June by a huge margin of 103 runs. This match was completely dominated by Sri Lankan A team with both bat and ball, in which they scored 322 runs batting first, after which Afghanistan A team was reduced to 219 runs in 42.5 overs. In the final match between India A and Sri Lanka A team on 21 June at Dambulla ground, once again Team India's young opening batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who is now a part of the Indian A team, has also got a place in the T20 series.
