Indian Elections: Campaigning Concludes Ahead of May 4 Polls

Campaigning for the last 142 seats is over. Polling will begin by late night. After two-and-a-half months of intense campaigning, the electorates will decide on May 4. There is no end to speculation about the results. The Trinamool insists from the beginning that it will win more than 200 seats. Forget about the country and the world, Modi-Shah also say they will win 200 seats. On the other hand, the Left is thinking of going a long way with the hope of revival or reintegration of the seats with the ISF. Political and voting experts talk about many possibilities. Many new factors have been added to this election which were not there in the previous elections. So it seems like a foolish irresponsible statement to say that we will win two hundred seats, we will win two hundred and fifty seats. The Trinamool is not in a good position at all.
