Minister Ashok Uikey informed that the Chief Minister has assured the students that the meeting will be held again after three months. It will be seen whether there is any problem in implementing the decisions announced by the government. The government has also decided on the demand related to the government recruitment of ST candidates. The students had demanded that ST should be placed second in the point roster as per the relevant government order. For this, the government has already formed a committee. The recommendation of the committee is expected to come within three months, on the basis of which further action will be taken. The Panchayat (Extension to Scheduled Areas) Act has also been discussed, i.e. recruitment in PESA and non-PESA areas has been completed in 9 of the 17 cadres under PESA. Instructions have been given to start the recruitment process immediately in the rest of the cadres. The matter of creating supernumerary posts for ST candidates has also been discussed in the Supreme Court within six months.
