MP Chandrashekhar Azad, who was on his way to meet the family of Dalit student Lalita Gautam in Meerut, UP, was stopped at the Sivaya toll plaza. Chandrashekhar had reached the toll plaza around 12 noon on Friday along with former ADG Prem Prakash and 300 activists. Police barricaded the toll plaza and deployed over 400 personnel. Officials said going to the village could vitiate the atmosphere.
