Indian Parliament's Monsoon Session Deadlocked Amid Opposition Disruptions

The monsoon session of parliament is set to pass the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Amendment Bill, 2026, while political discussions and speculations are rife over the delimitation bill, but the monsoon session has been deadlocked due to the uproar of the opposition. Amid the uproar in the monsoon session, BJP MPs accused the opposition of disrupting the proceedings of the house. The monsoon session of parliament is being held from July 20 to August 13. The total duration of this session is 25 days, in which a total of 19 meetings are scheduled, but so far the discussion in the house has been less noisy. BJP leaders said that the opposition is running away from the discussion and is not allowing the house to run with absurd demands. On Wednesday (August 5) also, sharp exchanges were seen between the Congress and the government over the delimitation and the proceedings of the house. BJP MP Manoj Tiwari targeted the opposition MPs, saying, "We are violating the rights of more than 133 MPs.
