New Delhi, Dec 27: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday interacted with Chief Ministers of various states via video conferencing to review the impact of the ongoing Iran-Israel conflict on the country's internal security and energy supplies. PM Modi took this initiative to coordinate with all states in the spirit of'Team India '. This is the first meeting of the Prime Minister with Chief Ministers of West Asia conflict. Chief Ministers of Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Assam, Kerala and Puducherry did not participate as the code of conduct is in place. Chief Secretaries of these states will interact separately. The Prime Minister had earlier warned the Lok Sabha that some anti-social elements may take advantage of the global crisis. Therefore, coastal, border and cyber security arrangements have been tightened. There have been rumours of a shortage of petrol, diesel and cooking gas in the country in the aftermath of the Iran war, over which politics has also intensified. The government has clarified that petrol-diesel (LPG) cylinders are not available for about 60 days.
