Prime Minister Modi recalled his old visit to Seychelles, his first foreign visit to the Indian Ocean region after becoming Prime Minister in 2015. He said that Seychelles was very special to him at that time. He said that Seychelles has always been a special place in India's vision for the Indian Ocean region. This was the reason that he gave priority to Seychelles in his early visits.
