Indian Prime Minister Modi Addresses Seychelles Parliament, Hails Cooperation and Friendship

Addressing the Parliament of Seychelles, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that it is a matter of great honour for him to speak in this National Assembly. He said that he is the first Indian Prime Minister who has got the opportunity to address the Parliament of Seychelles and this is a special moment for him. Prime Minister Modi said that he has brought with him the best wishes and congratulations from the 1.4 billion people of India. He wished the people and leadership of Seychelles for the progress and achievements of the country. He also said that cooperation in green hydrogen is increasing. Prime Minister Modi recalled his old visit to Seychelles, his first foreign visit to the Indian Ocean region after becoming Prime Minister in 2015. He said that Seychelles was very special to him at that time. He said that Seychelles has always been a special place in India's vision for the Indian Ocean region. This was the reason that he gave priority to Seychelles in his early visits.
