Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi Arrives in Tashkent for Strategic Partnership Talks

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Tashkent on a two-day visit to Uzbekistan, where he was received on his arrival in Tashkent. During the visit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold delegation-level talks with President Mirziyoyev to further strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries. The two leaders will review cooperation in the areas of trade and investment, defence, digital connectivity, energy, education and people-to-people ties, and set the agenda for the way forward. PM Modi arrived in Tashkent on his fourth visit to Uzbekistan. President Mirziyoyev received him at the airport. The two leaders also hugged each other. PM Modi is in Tashkent on the first leg of his two-nation visit to Uzbekistan and the Kyrgyz Republic. The visit is aimed at strengthening India's strategic partnership in Central Asia and deepening cultural ties with the region.
