Indian Railways Operates Special Trains for NEET 2026 Examinees

Indian Railways operates special trains from time to time for the convenience of passengers. While Puja Special and Summer Special trains are operated during festivals and summer holidays, special trains are now being operated keeping in mind the convenience of candidates appearing for competitive examinations. In this sequence, for the examinees of NEET 2026 examination, the North Eastern Railway, Lucknow Divisional Administration has decided to run two pairs of unreserved examination special trains between Gorakhpur and Lucknow. These trains will be operated on 21 June 2026. Mahesh Gupta, Public Relations Officer of North Eastern Railway Lucknow Division said that this arrangement has been made to facilitate the candidates to reach the examination center on time on the day of the examination and return. To facilitate the examinees to travel to and from their destinations. Mahesh Gupta, Public Relations Officer of North Eastern Railway Lucknow Division said that in these examination special trains, 10 coaches of General Second Class (GS) and 2 coaches of SLRD (SLRD) examination will be installed. In total, 12 coaches of unreserved examination will be available on these trains.
